Air tools belt grinder

Mannesmann Demag belt grinders offer the following features:

The air driven belt grinders (TODO LINK) do have powerful motors, allow an easy belt change
and have a rear air exhaust. Air inlet- / and exhaust hoses are included.

The compact design of the belt grinders, the low weight and the telescopic belt tensioner do leave nothing to be desired.

For the belt grinders grinding belts are available from 8 to 15 mm or 6 mm and 13 mm, according to the models. The belt grinder GB 610 allows to grind with or without belt support. A reasonable range of changeable tensioning arms complete the variety of this belt grinder.

Air tools filing tools

The main application of the air driven filing tools is the deburring of casted or machined parts as well as filing work in the die and mould industry

Mannesmann Demag filing tools offer the following features:

The air driven filing tools do have extremely low vibration values:
FRV 110: 2,0 m/s2
FRV 60 B: 1,8 m/s2

The air driven filing tool FRV 110 is suitable also for heavier filing work, also in a foundry application. With a high precision, smooth running and a collet for round shaft files this file is an universally applicable tool.

Air tools engraving pens

The main application areas of the engraving pen GST 540 are engraving of hardened steel, metals, glass, plastic, ceramics and stone.

The Mannesmann Demag engraving pen offers the following features:

The simple and handy air driven engraving pen allows an easy change of the engraving needle.

The extremely low vibration level of the engraving pen which is below 2,5 m / s2, the noise level below 65 dB(A) and the very easy handling allow the marking of workpieces of different materials. The engraving pen can be used with three different needle sizes.

The engraving pen Type GST 540 M is suitable to be used as a chisel as well as to work on fossil stones.

Air tools straight die grinders

Mannesmann Demag grinders are applicable in all industrial areas in the metal work industry due to various speeds, power classes and different designs. The grinding tools are basically distinguished between:

Air grinders with exhaust air to rear or to front
Air grinders with turning valve or safety lever
Air grinders with paired ball bearings
Air grinders for single or two-hand use
Air grinders with stiff or floating spindle support

Air grinders are available between 10.000 min-1 to 100.000 min-1.

Applications for die grinders

Straight grinding tools for foundries

Mannesmann Demag Air grinders for foundries offer the following features:

The air grinders with extensions like models G 15000 H, GL 200 or G 100 are available in various power classes and speeds. The air grinders are designed with a robust and variable extension up to 1000 mm neck length. The air grinders GL 15000 H, G 100 H and G 101 H the extensions are easily mounted by threads.

The air grinder models G 101 has a M 12 thread to mount mounted points or burrs with internal threads. The air grindes with built-in governor keep the turning speed nearly constant, even under load.

Therefore these air grinders are the ideal solution for difficult-to-access areas (e.g. tubes, turbine wheels and housings, complicated casted parts).

Angle grinders for foundries

Mannesmann Demag air driven angle grinders used in foundries with hard metal burrs offer the following main features:

The angle air grinders are used to deburr, grind, mill, polish and for fettling. The angle air grinders are available with aluminium or steel angle heads. The robust design and the ER-collets, safety levers according to EN 792 as well as the optimized angle gear support for higher torque made this tool to become a standard for difficult-to-access areas.

Air tools angle grinders with grinding discs for foundries

Mannesmann Demag pneumatic angle grinders, pneumatic pistol type grinders and pneumatic vertical grinders for grinding discs used in foundries offer the following main features:

The air angle grinders GTP 132, GW 122 offer a direct drive without angle gear, additional handle grips and safety levers according to EN 792.

The air angle grinder GW 121 H is designed with a automatic balancer and a vibration dampening handle bar - this ensures a vibration level of 1,52 m/s² at the handle bar and 1,82 m/s² at tool housing. These values utterly achieve the guideline according to 2002/44/EG.

Another feature of the angle grinder is the easy disc change through a spindle stop system. The angle air grinder GW 121 H is equipped with a speed governor and lowers the air consumption at free speed.

A dust vacuum device is available upon request.
Air angle and vertical grinders are available for the use with disc diameters up to 230 mm.

Air tools for drilling and cutting

Mannesmann Demag pneumatic drills, counter sinks und tapping tools are available in the following designs:

Air tools for assembly

Our assembly technology product range includes pneumatic and electrical screw drivers. The assembly technology is distinguished by the various technologies, the manner of the tightening application and the required tightening accuracy. Within the assembly tools it is basically distinguished between:

as well as several solutions for semi-automation with screw seperators or screw feeding systems.

Pneumatic screw drivers are seperated into different designs which alow an ergonomic working and also an easier access to the screw:

  • Pneumatic screw drivers pistol type design
  • Pneumatic screw drivers in straight design
  • Pneumatic angle screw drivers
Every single screw driver design can be distinguished by the method of tightening mechanism:

Pneumatic angle screw drivers and nut clampers are available with automatic clutch only.

Impact wrenches

Mannesmann Demag air driven impact wrenches were designed especially for the industrial sector. The impact wrenches do have a robust housing, high torques up to 24.000 Nm, offer easy maintenance and a long life time.

The impact wrenches are built with different hammer mechanisms.

Impact wrenches with TWIN-hammer mechanism
These impact wrenches make two hits per rotation on both sides of the drive spindle.

Impact wrenches with 3-jaw hammer mechanism
These impact wrenches hit simultaneously on both sides of the drive spindle and ensure a higher power by this.

Impact wrenches with single hammer mechanism
These impact wrenches make one hit per rotation on one side of the drive spindle. This ensures a high impact energy.

Impact wrenches are mainly used wherever a joint does not require a high accuracy. Impact wrenches are mainly used to open or tighten a screw quickly or to pre-tighten a joint.

Quality impact wrenches made by Mannesmann Demag. We are your partner for the assembly.
